iCoStore respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you regarding your information.

This Privacy Policy applies to website visitors, prospective clients, clients, company store users, gift and merchandise recipients, vendors, business contacts, and other individuals who interact with iCoStore in a commercial or online context. It covers our website at icostore.com, our client portal, the company stores we operate, and related services.

By using our website, products, or services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy.

Company Stores and Programs We Operate for Clients

We build and run company stores, uniform programs, recognition programs, and similar programs for business clients. When you use one of these stores, your employer or the sponsoring organization may give us information about you, such as your name, work email, employee or member ID, department, work location, and program eligibility or award status.

We use that information to operate the store or program for the client, and we share order, participation, and reporting information with that client under our agreement with them. The client’s own privacy policy governs how the client uses your information. This Privacy Policy does not cover our clients’ privacy practices.

If you have a question or request about information your employer or the sponsoring organization controls, you may contact them directly. If you contact us, we may forward your request to them.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with our website or services, we may collect the following categories of personal information.

Payment and Billing Information

If you make a purchase through one of our company stores or our client portal, payment card and transaction information is processed by our payment processor. Our marketing website does not process payments. iCoStore does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers. We may receive and retain limited payment-related information, such as transaction identifiers, billing details, payment status, card type, expiration date, and the last four digits of a payment card, as needed for order processing, accounting, fraud prevention, and customer support.

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

We do not use automated tools to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects, such as decisions about employment, credit, housing, or access to essential services.

Service providers may only use your information to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to safeguard it. We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify an individual.

7. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money.

However, our use of certain third-party advertising, analytics, and retargeting technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some U.S. state privacy laws, including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where this applies, you have the right to opt out, as described in Section 12.

8. Marketing Communications

We may send you marketing communications about iCoStore, our products, our services, and related updates where permitted by law. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send transactional or service-related messages necessary to provide our services.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The length of time we retain information depends on factors such as the nature of the information, whether an account or order is active, and applicable legal and contractual requirements. Retention criteria for each category are listed in Section 13. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete, de-identify, or anonymize it where practical.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How to Submit a Request

Email marketing@icostore.com with “Privacy Rights Request” in the subject line, or call 480-621-4621. You do not need an account to submit a request.

Verification. We will ask for enough information to confirm you are the person the information is about, such as your name, email address, and details of a recent order. We use the information you give us only to verify and respond to your request.

Authorized agents. An agent may submit a request for you with written, signed permission or a valid power of attorney. We may ask you to confirm your identity or the agent’s authority directly with us.

Our response. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this by up to 45 more days and will tell you why within the first 45 days. If we cannot fully meet your request, we will explain why.

Appeals. If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing marketing@icostore.com with “Privacy Request Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond in writing within 60 days, or sooner if your state’s law requires it. If we deny your appeal, you may contact the Attorney General of your state to submit a complaint.

No discrimination. We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.

12. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and others where applicable, may have additional rights under state law. These may include the rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Opting Out of the Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising and retargeting technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising,” under some state laws. You can opt out in any of these ways:

• Use the “Cookie Settings” link in our website footer to turn off advertising technologies.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control in a browser that supports it.

Browser-based opt-outs apply to the browser and device you use. If you use more than one, opt out on each, or contact us so we can apply it to records we can link to you.

We do not use opt-out requests to send you advertising, and we will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months unless you start the request.

13. California Privacy Notice

This section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. It also serves as our California notice at collection.

Categories of Personal Information Collected

In the preceding twelve months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information. The “Sold or Shared” column indicates whether a category may be “sold” or “shared” under the CCPA, which here refers to disclosure to advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, not the exchange of personal information for money.

We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not sell or share sensitive personal information.

Sources, Purposes, and Disclosure

We collect this information from the sources, and use and disclose it for the purposes, described in Sections 1, 2, and 6 of this Privacy Policy. The categories of third parties we disclose to are described in Section 6.

Sale or Sharing

As described in Section 7, we do not sell personal information for money, but some of our advertising and analytics activity may be considered a sale or sharing under the CCPA. The categories of third parties to whom this information may be sold or shared include advertising networks, analytics providers, retargeting providers, and social media advertising platforms.

Notice of Right to Opt Out

You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. See Section 12 for how to do this, including the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer.

Financial Incentives

We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.

Our Referral Program pays a reward when a business you introduce signs a client agreement with us. The reward is for the business introduction, not for providing personal information.

If you take part, we collect your contact information and the referred contact’s business information to manage the referral and pay the reward. You may stop participating at any time by contacting us.

California “Shine the Light”

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. California residents may request information about this by emailing marketing@icostore.com.

Data Breach Rights

California residents may have a private right of action under California Civil Code Section 1798.150 if certain unencrypted personal information is accessed and taken in a breach caused by a failure to maintain reasonable security.

14. EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar data-protection laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, to request portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, which may include standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

15. International Users

iCoStore is based in the United States. If you access our website from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

16. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16, or process the personal information of anyone under 18 for targeted advertising.

If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, or from a minor in a way that does not meet these commitments, we will delete it. If you believe this has happened, contact us using the information at the end of this policy.

17. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

18. Do Not Track and Browser Signals

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track feature, and there is not currently a uniform industry standard for responding to all such signals. We honor legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We apply GPC signals to all advertising and analytics technologies on our website.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes become effective when the revised version is posted on this page unless otherwise stated. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
