iCoStore Named Best Place to Work 2026 – iCoStore

2026 Counselor Best Places to Work

We are honored to share that iCoStore has been named to the 2026 Counselor Best Places to Work list, recognized among 80 promotional products companies across the country. For a company that has been building on-demand branded merchandise programs for more than 20 years, this one means something different. It is not a product award. It is a people award.

And that makes it the most meaningful recognition we have ever received.

People Make the Business

Tom Meissner, our founder and president, has said it from the beginning: people make the business, not systems or technology. That belief shapes everything about how we hire, how we lead, and how we show up for one another every day. We look for smart, skilled people and then give them the clarity, ownership, and support to grow. Many of our current leaders started in entry-level roles here. That is not a coincidence. It is the culture we have worked hard to build.

What We Actually Value

This recognition reflects three things our team said matter most: flexible work arrangements, skill development, and an employee-endorsed environment. In practice, that means we do not want anyone missing a kid’s soccer game or a family milestone to answer emails. It means we invest in tools like The Predictive Index to make sure people are aligned with roles where they can thrive. It means we celebrate together, we develop together, and we hold each other accountable, the way a good team does.

Gratitude, Genuinely

We are grateful to Counselor magazine and ASI for this recognition. We are even more grateful to every person on our team who makes iCoStore what it is. Culture is not a perk or a policy. It is a daily choice. Our team makes that choice consistently, and we do not take that for granted.

Thank you for being the reason we earned this.

Ready To See A Real On-Demand Store In Action?

If you suspect your current "on-demand" program is still running on inventory and workarounds, we can walk you through how a true one-piece model works and where it would have the most impact in your business.

FAQs About On-Demand Company Stores

Not always. Some programs work well with just-in-time or on-demand production, while others may need a mix of inventory and on-demand items depending on product type, volume, and how the store is used. The best setup usually depends on your audience, order patterns, and whether certain items need to be available immediately versus produced as orders come in.

A successful company swag store starts with a clear purpose. Before launch, you need to know who the store is for, what goals it supports, what products people actually need, and whether purchases will be employee-paid, company-funded, or tied to budgets or points. Stores tend to perform best when they are supported by ongoing communication, fresh product updates, and an assortment that matches the audience using them.

In many cases, company-funded stores drive stronger participation. Employees usually enjoy receiving branded items, but they are often less likely to purchase them with their own money unless the products are highly relevant or desirable. Many organizations improve adoption by giving employees a budget, points, or store credit tied to anniversaries, recognition, safety programs, or other milestones.
